About
Cherished Legacies was built on a simple belief: the stories entrusted to us are worth remembering.
Photographs, home movies, letters, family Bibles, keepsakes, and historical records are more than things we store. They reveal where we came from, what shaped us, and the lives that came before us. Our purpose is to help make sure those stories are not lost.

Meet Carmen
For me, legacy preservation is deeply personal. I believe God calls us to remember His faithfulness, record the stories He has written through our lives, and pass them on to the generations that follow. That belief shapes the way I approach every project.
Preserving a life is not about keeping everything. It is about thoughtfully choosing the photographs, memories, documents, and stories that best reflect the people, places, and moments that matter most.
For more than 30 years, I have helped individuals, families, and organizations care for people, preserve meaningful stories, and create something lasting. Whether I am preserving a family’s history, recording a faith testimony, creating a legacy book, or caring for an organization’s historical collection, my goal is the same:
to honor the story, preserve what matters, and help it reach the next generation.
Faith and Legacy
My faith is not a separate part of this work. It is the foundation beneath it.
Scripture repeatedly calls us to remember what God has done and teach it to those who come after us. That is the heart behind my faith legacy work and the phrase:
Remember. Record. Reach.
Remember God’s faithfulness.
Record the stories and lessons that should not be lost.
Reach the people who need to hear them now and in generations to come.
Not every Cherished Legacies project is faith-based, but my faith shapes the integrity, compassion, and purpose I bring to every client and every story.
